Some time ago I posted a message with the subject are the same of this. I looked the status of RTAI Project (in the past, the group works together with the RT Linux Project). Actually, the RTAI Project are full compatible with the current kernel (fusion and 3.x versions), with a lot of new improvments like a emulation layer for syscalls of other RTOS (like VXWorks), etc. The RTLinux Pro have a lot a new improvments too, but isn't a GPL. I don't know if are the community effort to port the GPL version of RT Linux to current kernel. Are the development of RT Linux Free stalled? Anybody knows something?
