you can use the dynamic memory allocator (from ocera) located in rtl_malloc.o. it is also used by the redd-network drivers (if you need some examples). to my mind the c++ allocator is based on this! but i'm not sure whether c++ itself currently works under rtlinux. if you don't depend on c++ it would be the easy way to use c instead.
