Hello to all! Anybody knows if RT Linux 3.2-rc1 supports SMP with the Pentium D Processor (dual core processor, without HT)? I compiled a test system with the kernel 2.4.29 with SMP enable and Pentium 4 Processor Family, compiled with gcc version 3.3.3 (release). The mother board used is a Intel D945PLRN. The results was not good. The machine hangs with the 1st step of the regression tests (insert rtl.o module). Can the gcc 2.95 (gcc version 2.95.4 20010319) or the Pentium III/Celeron(Coppermine) Processor Family config produce more stable results? Or the RT Linux don't support Dual Core Processors? Results to share are welcome! Sincerely, --=20 Robson Sales Desenvolvimento NETEL - N=FAcleo Empresarial de Tecnologia Eletr=F4nica Trana Constru=E7=F5es Ltda. Fone: +55 (85) 3495-6433 R - 223.
