You just need to request it specifically by using the correct function to set the thread as fp using. The reason is that if you don't use FP, you can context switch slightly faster so if you don't need to pay the penalty you don't. Look in examples/fp for how to turn it on. In Pro yoou set an attribute, but I think we never added that to free.
