 From your comments about not being much familiar with PCI device 
drivers or FPGA cores, I am wondering if you are concerned that if a PCI 
board's interface is implemented in a FPGA, that you need some 
familiarity with FPGAs in order to write a driver.

It has been my experience that you do not need familiarity with the FPGA 
in order to write such a driver. If the PCI interface meets the PCI 
spec, the fact that it is implemented in a FPGA is not a concern.

I have written drivers for a few Measurement Computing boards including 
one for a D/A board, the PCI DDA04/12, 4 channels of 12 bit D/A. If you 
think looking at this driver would be helpful, let me know and I will 
send it to you.
