Strictly speaking, the software is installed on the hard drive, but you will at least need a motherboard too. A power supply is going to be essential, and a case wouldn't hurt (keeps the noise down, ya know). </sarcasm> Sorry couldn't resist. Yes, there is a 32-bit and a 64-bit version and you may install either or both if you have an AMD64 system. If this is a server and you can afford it, go with RHEL 4.
