Not having an A8V, that's _exactly_ what I was talking about
with the remapping.

BTW, I wouldn't be surprised if the reason why it is disable
is because the NT kernel (non 2K[3] Advanced Server) takes a
real issue with it.

He should.  The last 512MiB will be mapped at 4-4.5GiB, at
least with a x86-64 kernel.
