AXPpci 33 (NoName) diagnostics

Has anybody built/seen/heard of the "LED Display Circuit" that displays POS=

I have a dead one; For a while it would start to POST, then freeze. Subsequ=
ent boots would do nothing till ~1 day later; repeat. Doesn't seem to do mu=
ch of anything lately.
Tried everything - no cards/drives/cache, swapped CPU & RAM, reseated ROM, =
yanked RTC; no change in behavior. Do these suffer "Multia Heat Death" too?
Anybody have any other ideas?
