I powered up my Alphas last weekend. All booted successfully. I have 2 164SX and 2 164LX. All have 533MHz CPUs and 256 MB of ECC DRAM. I have Matrox video cards, NIC cards with DEC 21140 chips, Adaptec 2940 SCSI adaptors, SCSI disks and SCSI CD-ROMs for this systems. I also have i/o shields and extras that match these motherboards. The LXs use SRM console and the SXx use AlphaBIOS. These can be reloaded. All are available to a good home. I am assuming that the cases, power supplies, hard disks, CD-ROM drives are not worth shipping, but that is not my call. A DEC NIC with SRM Console supports network booting. The Matrox video cards (Millennium IIs) may be hard to find. I also have 1 Radeon 7500 which seems to be supported, but maybe this is a feature of Redhat Linux 7.2 for which I have disks.
