Anyways, it is possible to run Linux or some of the BSD's on
most configurations, so there a big chance that one will work
for you. One caveat is that the EISA Mylex DAC960 is not
supported in Linux nor FreeBSD, but you can replace it with
any PCI based DAC 960 (Out of a PeeCee) with 2.73 firmware (FreeBSD
only) or 3.x firmware (Linux/FreeBSD). 

Provide me detailed specs on your system (Especcialy on the disk
subsystem) to help you further.
