Well Kristoffer, this may not be a perfect solution, but you can install 
colinux. However, you would need to enjoy your windows screen-reader. I must 
put up with this on my laptop. So considering I mostly login to a shell-account, 
I go in a cmd prompt in vista, and launch telnet, or in Debian Squeeze, I can 
launch an ssh. Folks on the colinux list understand why a screen-reader won't 
currently work. Hope this will help
