orca friendly partition recovery software

Hello I did a stupid thing, I accidently formatted my partition on my 
usb drive haven't written anything to the drive sense I had this happen
is there a orca friendly partition recovery program that can try to 
recover the data?
I know of a windows program but want to get this done in linux
