vinux questions

Hi. Finally I got the vinux live image working on my computer. I've got some questions before I decide to use this or debian. 1. can I select the language I want? I'm using swedish. 2. how do I do if I want to update packages? In debian I'm using apt-get for this. 3. can I compile new kernels, and install whatever I want just like in debian? 4. can I do a text based install of vinux with my braille display?
