brltty question

If brltty finds a speaker and no braille display is it intelligent enough
to come up speaking on that speaker? If so, maybe some basic slackware
accessibility to the limit of brltty's speech capability can be restored.
If that accessibility is sufficient to run command line interface and
eventually install mate and orca is something else to consider before
approaching slackware with brltty current version as a partial solution to
their loss of accessibility problem.
