quick question on setVisible (Bebop Components)

Hi,
       My page (a container by itself) contains 'another container' to
which I add a 'Label' component. 
I need to dynamically set the visibility of this label component at
runtime. I tried doing it using print listener. Since
this label component is NOT directly contained in the page, the
setVisibility method throws an exception.
How else would I be able to modify it's visibility.
