CCM - RESIN - JSSE

Hi All,
       Has anyone used JSSE with CCM running on Resin? Appreciate
sharing any of your experiences.
We have a valid certificate and using the 'keytool' utility we created a
keystore from this certificate and
configured the same in the resin.conf file. 
 
Our app uses JSSE to connect to secure external servers. This works
fine. However, our application (running
on port 443 - https) is NOT accessible from any client browser. This
totally baffles me. Is there something
I am missing here?  This issue is holding us from the production
release. I would be delighted if any of you is familiar
with this issue and HELP me resolve it.
