Thanks for the feedback!

I've scratched out the old FC2 tomcat and jakarta stuff
and replaced with jpackage stuff (with jdk, too).

Now, after having fixed a couple of links to jaf and javamail,
I'm able lo load ccm-core and ccm-cms and fire tomcat4
successfully. I'm able to logon to the cms as admin.

Now the second step.
If I load something useful, like ccm-cms-types-agenda
(but with types-newsletter it's the same behaviour),
I take, while restarting Tomcat, this error

----------------------------
2004-07-16 22:42:46 StandardContext[]: Servlet threw load() exception
javax.servlet.ServletException: Error instantiating servlet class
com.arsdigita.web.DispatcherServlet
[snip]
----- Root Cause -----
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
         at sun.reflect.NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.newInstance0(Native
Method) at
sun.reflect.NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.newInstance(NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.java:39)
----------------------------

and the page error is

---------
HTTP Status 503 - Servlet ccm-dispatcher is currently unavailable

type Status report
message Servlet ccm-dispatcher is currently unavailable
description The requested service (Servlet ccm-dispatcher is currently
unavailable) is not currently available.
Apache Tomcat/4.1
---------

Is there any dependency problem ?
I've found that when I do the ccm load, some
waf config parameters seems broken (the optional parameters)

-----
[1] Set waf.config.packages:
           [Ljava.lang.String;@134e4fb
[2] Set waf.config.parents:
           [Ljava.net.URL;@1a52fdf

-----

Any hel will be appreciated, as usual.
Not the basic (java+tomcat) configuration
should be ok. What else could be ?
