ISA based serial port controllers-Device driver development Redhat linux 9

Hi,
I am a new person in linux device driver area.
I have insalled Redhat linux 9,and i have a custom 
ISA card(2 serial port conrollers PC16550D,uPD
71051).Also i have with me lynxOS driver source code
for this card.
How can i make this card configured in Redhat linux ? 
Do i need to modify,serial.c  for recognising this
card ?
Any helps will be appreciated.
