 I'm developing C plugin for Red Hat which will be installed as kernel mo=
dule. The problem is how to collect the data about:

	    RAM
	Check =E2=80=93 Total Memory, Free Memory,  Memory Load =20
	    HDD
	Check =E2=80=93 Number of physical HDDs, Number of logical partitions,
	Total space, Free space =20
	    Running
	processes =E2=80=93 Total number of processes =20
	    Logs
	=E2=80=93 system logs such as error logs =20
	    System
	uptime =20
	    Users
	logged in and last login =E2=80=93 total list of users =20
	    Total
	network connections =20
	    Check
	hardware parts model and number =20

The kernel module will check the status of the OS every 5 minutes. What i=
s the most efficient way to collect these data?
