Regarding sound problem

Hi friends i am have ASUS P4S533-MX motherboard. and the sound card provided in it is ADI AD1980 6-CHANNEL CODEC...i have windows xp in one partition and in other partition i am having fedora 1..what the problem is that when i do autoconfiguration of sound ,it detected driver as Intel (i810) and also there is no sound ..so i tried the ALSA package of 1.0.0rc1 .i followed the procedure give in the manual ..but there was no sound even after installation of it..so please help me to get sound in fedora 1.. or suggest some driver to install inorder to get sound in linux.. -- Fedora-config-list mailing list [email protected] http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-config-list
