Re: Firewall Config Tool

The interface doesn't seem to like not having the iptables kernel
modules loaded, either - it gives you a blank screen and warning
messages from "iptables-save".

And this is probably not the best of timing, but I've got a related
project at http://sentinel.tigris.org/ based on previous work on a
firewall config tool by Timothy Chagnon - it's designed to do pretty
muchy the same thing, although the interface is decidedly different.

I don't have any RPM's, just the CVS repo
(CVSROOT=:pserver:[email protected]:/cvs) and a quick testing
script.  The GUI is derived from the existing
system-config-securitylevel GUI in FC2, and FC2 is what I'm developing
on at the moment.  Depending on the will of the list, I can either drop
sentinel and contribute to gipt, or accept some interface redesign based
on gipt into sentinel, or somewhere in between.
