I'm really not sure where to go with this, so if this is the wrong place for
this question, please redirect me to the right place.

i have recently purchased a dell laptop. and since i hate windows with a
burning passion. i installed Fedora because so many of my friends and co
workers have had good things to say about it. when my computer starts up.
all goes as planned until it tries to look for a floppy drive. i dont have
one. thats not the real problem. just real annoying. the part where im
really getting frustrated is where it wont recognize or even detect my mini
pci cards. these two mini's are my ethernet and wireless cards. even when
the hardware manager starts it wont recognize that something is even
connected at that location or even acknowledge that that location exists. is
it me? its me right?

-a desperate person on dial up
