Re: Fedora-config-list Digest, Vol 11, Issue 1

Try 
ifconfig
if you can see your interface(eth0)with a valid Ip
address 
Ping yourself
if you get the echo reply , ping the DNS server of
your campus , if you get the reply fire up the
browser.
Or just typr 
/usr/bin/system-config-network
Remember to fill in your DNS entries
