Hi,
1. this is off-topic and belongs on fedora-list, not
fedora-config-list
2. The update causing the problem is the kernel - there were some
ALSA updates, I believe. If you fiddle with the mixer, you'll
figure it out - make sure you have all the volume controls at
around 75%, and try toggling the checkboxes along the bottom of
gnome-volume-control that turn the different channels and
features on and off.
