system-control-umts

I recently began to write a GUI for accessing UMTS/GPRS cards. Because, I have 
some other things going on and do not develop currently, I thought, I might 
announce it here, so that people who are interested in it could have a look 
and discuss it with me.

export CVSROOT=:pserver:[email protected]:/usr/local/CVS
cvs -z3 login
cvs -z3 co system-control-umts


I was thinking about s.th. like this:

ifup -> system-control-umts -> open serial device -> fork -> call pppd with 
user/pw (maybe pw plugin)
