Lastly, I have one more thing to put on the record. This email, with what I believe has a reasonable view on the situation, has been left without a response for a couple months (on the XDG mailing list): https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xdg/2026-May/014811.html This makes it an issue of pure negligence in my opinion. I don't know exactly what's going on with Freedesktop, but it doesn't look pretty. Sent with Proton Mail secure email.
