So do not touch existing configuration until upstream removes it. Cryptsetup follows upstream kernel. But removal for API that was there for more than decade this way is just wrong. This whole thread is ridiculous. This idea of removing AF_ALG took me hours of upstream cryptsetup time, and your proposal will add only more time answering question of concerned users. It solves no issue, only adds another one. Please stop.
