Self Introduction: Emanuele Petriglia

Hello,

My name is Emanuele Petriglia (ema-pe on GitHub and GitLab). I am currently a Ph.D student in computer science. While I mainly use Ubuntu for my Ph.D work, I have been using Fedora on my personal computer since 2020. Among the distributions I have tried, Fedora is the one that aligns best with my principles. Over these years, I have mostly been a user, with some contributions through the localization of components on Weblate. I would now like to contribute in packaging, focusing mainly on software that I already use (starting with fx, for which I have already requested a review).

Regarding my background, I have experience with several programming languages (I'm currently using Go and Python) and have contributed to various open source projects through small patches, bug fixes and reports, localization/i18n, and by promoting open source in my local communities. One project that comes to mind is Xfce, which I used even before I started using Fedora.
