Hello,

I'm the keylime-agent-rust maintainer, and I'm working to fix the build on
Rawhide. I'm currently blocked by a broken dependency: rust-tss-esapi-sys
was bumped, but rust-tss-esapi was not, making them incompatible and not
installable together [0]. The same issue affects another package maintained
by my team in RHEL, clevis-pin-tpm2, so we are interested in getting it
fixed in Fedora as well.

The best solution is to update rust-tss-esapi (to the latest upstream
version v7.7.0), so I began investigating the necessary steps, which
resulted in the following list:

- bump rust-picky-asn1-x509 to version 0.15.4 (required by rust-tss-esapi)
- bump rust-tss-esapi to version 7.7.0 (required by keylime-agent-rust
0.2.10)
  - patched to use the available rust-bitfield 0.15.0
- bump keylime-agent-rust to the latest version 0.2.10
- rebuild clevis-pin-tpm2

I created a copr project [1] and built the dependencies there, as well as
keylime-agent-rust and clevis-pin-tpm2, as a PoC.

I proposed the changes to each dependency as PRs:
- rust-picky-asn1-x509:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-picky-asn1-x509/pull-request/2
- rust-tss-esapi:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rust-tss-esapi/pull-request/2

I'm not sure there is enough time to have them merged and built (so that I
can make the changes in keylime-agent-rust) before F45 branches from
Rawhide.

Would it be acceptable if I temporarily built keylime-agent-rust with
vendored dependencies, until the PRs are merged, and dependencies are
available?

Thank you,
Anderson
