In any case, poppler seems to be at 26.01.0 in rawhide currently, so the bump is from 26.01.0 to 26.08.0. (That bit of info would be nice to have in the original announcement.) scribus upstream carries patches for poppler 26.07.0 on their 1.6.x branch, so chances are that those may help. Fedora's scribus carries no patches on top of 1.6.6 so far. I'll look into this, I routinely build scribus from svn for Fedora anyways.
