I've had this in vit since we did the task v3/v2 split:

```
# use the newest task release
BuildRequires:  (task >= 3 or task2)
# either of these will do, depends on the user
Requires:       (task >= 3 or task2)
```

So, if task2 goes away, will it continue to use task (v3) or does it
need to be updated to remove "or task2" (and it can be added back if
someone takes it on)?
