If they're purely endian bugs, and everything else uses the same endianness... then do we really care? Sure, if it's actually some other type of data-handling bug that is easily exposed because of endianness, fix it. Like, I bet there's lots of stuff that would break with 6-bit characters or 36-bit words or one's complement arithmetic, but I wouldn't spend any effort to fix it today. And at this point, big endian is headed that way. -- Chris Adams <[email protected]> -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new
