Agreed. If you wanted to have a swappable /usr/bin/vim, the best 
solution would be to work with the vim and neovim maintainers to 
implement something like 
https://forge.fedoraproject.org/packaging/guidelines/issues/1440 (as 
opposed to the alternatives mechanism), but that shouldn't be necessary 
for the first iteration, and it'd be best to prioritize getting the 
parallel-installable suffixed binaries into the distribution first.
