Could you please tell me exactiy what should be in /etc/systemd/system/mnt-storage_server-NVMe.mount This file does not exist by default. =========================================================================== Patrick DUPRÉ | | email: [email protected] =========================================================================== Sent: Monday, June 01, 2026 at 3:45 PM From: "None via users" <[email protected]> To: "Community support for Fedora users" <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: "auto mount" This should be written in the file: /etc/systemd/system/mnt-storage_server-NVMe.mount Yep, you are 100% correct. I forgot to show the file name and mention that they should be named as the mount-point with dashes instead of forward slashes. but it is better IMO to not enable this unit, and thus the [Install] section is not needed, nor the ordering After=, but enable only the .automount unit. Oh, I don't have the .mount unit enabled, actually. Only the .automount unit is enabled and triggers the .mount unit when I access the mount directory. I was just unaware that I didn't need to put the [Install] section in the file. That is good to know. -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new
