The problem isn't that I don't want to be asked to enter my password when I use sudo. The problem is if I use dnf or rpm in a terminal, very soon after the operation is complete, a GUI dialog box opens saying "things have changed" and I need to provide the password for a local user. That local user is in fact in the wheel group.
