Using "dnf remove xscreensaver" properly removes
/etc/xdg/autostart/xscreensaver-autostart.desktop, but as a file in
the xscreensaver-base required RPM.

How did you removed it ?

  - with "rpm -e" ?
  - with "dnf remove --no-autoremove" ?
