Although, that does not list the lo interface at all, but the other 
interfaces.

I do not have much experience with that, but AFAIK firewalld thinks 
zone-based and an interface is attached to a zone.
As traffic between lo and other interfaces makes no sense, I assume 
firewalld does not cover this situation.
