Which is just a suicide clock dressed up in a layer of make-up and disguise.  
It's a kill switch that is guaranteed to go off, at some point, the only  
question is when.

I just checked the SMART from one of my spinning rusts:

  9 Power_On_Hours          0x0032   001   001   000    Old_age   Always       -       100045

Over 100000 hours, or 11 years, of constant use. Let's revisit this topic in  
ten years and see how well all of y'alls SSDs are doing…
