Had installed on Dell Latitude 5580HQ 8 times before, and always 
showed 34?
Setup a VirtualBox test, and ran 3 times, and it came up with 2048 
each time?
So did a 9th test on machine.

Booted from USB using the USB EFI option

Looked at disk setup as it was after doing the previous install, and 
redoing first partition.

Ran the install to disk using entire disk.

Used gparted to modify first partition to have space before 1, but it 
then moves the start to 4096, and used gparted that shows 2 before 
to just 1 to get the 2048 I'm looking for.
Did also noticed with the 34 that partition is listed as vfat, but after 
the moving it is listed as fat32??

When I test with the Virtual Box 3 times, it always came up with 
2048. Using these steps.

So, not sure why VirtualBox gets the 2048 but boot from usb of 
same iso from flash get the 34?

Normall would already show as GPT, but had to creat table GPT
Create Partitions under GPT
bootefi /boot/efi   EFI system partition .6G create
boot /boot ext4 2G Create
root /     ext4 105G created

return to installer
Shows 
Detected valid storage layout
107 GB sda (ATA harddisk)
sda1 600M mount /boot/efi
sda2 2.00 GB mount /boot
sda3 105 GB /

Shows Use configured storage? Never saw that before. H used the 
Mount point assignment option.
Setup User account and root.
shows layout but not detail on start point.

Use entire disk

Also, why the /boot/efi is 572 instead if the 600? (.6G)
