solution is an entry in my /etc/rc.d/rc.local fetched from powertop

for the USB Dongle it's
# Wake status for USB device 1-10.1
echo 'disabled' > '/sys/bus/usb/devices/1-10.1/power/wakeup';

suspend works again

I loose the ability to wake the box via keyboard/mice
but power button does
