Sorry for the little flood of events - the consumer had actually
crashed a couple of weeks ago, and I hadn't noticed. I fixed it up and
its heuristics meant it created three events in quick succession as it
caught up with missed messages.

I'll look at improving monitoring so this doesn't happen again. A big
thanks to Jocelyn from the Server WG for noticing that events weren't
being created.
