I reported https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2442147 . On subsequent attempts I couldn't get a permanent hang (though on one attempt it appeared to be hung, then the installer crashed while I was attempting to get to a VT). On none of them did I ever see any /tmp/*log files other than the /tmp/*.log files (so no /tmp/syslog). Since I saved the /tmp/*.log files from the attempt with 20260219 where it hung, I attached those files to the bug. By staying logged into a VT while the installer is running and periodically running top and checking "ls -l /tmp/*log", I get the impression that when the installer UI appears hung, the install is actually finished and the UI just didn't get updated. But I can't be sure. -- _______________________________________________ test mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new
