A stub was put in there to map grub.cfg to the file in /boot/grub2. Lately the growing file /bort/efi/EFI/Linux is now mapped to /boot/EFI/Linux on my vm that tracks rawhide. Apparently the kernel install uses that file branch for its scratch space now.
