Console Screen resolution

Hallo Leute,

ich habe früher mal mit lilo.conf  und der option vga=791 die screen
resolution erhöht.
Leider bekomme ich das nicht mehr hin bzw. geht das auch mit grub?

Für ein paar hilfreiche ansätze wäre ich euch sehr dankbar.
