RE: FW: sftp error question

Yes, I was able to create a file and remove it from his directory. 
I've looked in /var/log/httpd but I'm not entirely sure what should be standing out. 

For example in in the (access_log) I see:

If I understand what I googled correctly, then the top ones - with the exception of the HTTP 1.1 304- log are okay. The (TLSv1 DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA) logs have to do with SSL ciphers?
This last one, I'm not sure about it. There isn't a directory called 'aa-directory' in that path (/var/www/html/). I've sent an email to the webmaster to find out if there used to be such a directory, but I'm waiting to hear back. Not sure how Mr. Adams' directory would be tied into that one though.

Can you log in as them, cd to the directory, and touch a throwaway file (i.e., touch this; rm this), to see if it's writable? If not, try restarted aufofs and nfslock.

Hmmm... it's web based - have you looked at /var/log/httpd to see if it's telling you anything?
