I am trying to migrate a working openldap install to a new RH6 server. When
I run slapcat it generates an ldif file from the old server. After
configuring the new server running slapadd does not create the same
databases as the old server. I am missing a givenname.bdb file. Some of the
bdb files are updated daily, and others are dated six months ago. Is that
normal?

Does anyone have a good procedure for migrating ldap database to new BD
backend, new server, new slapd, etc...

Also, what is the proper way to deal with the log.00000000xx files?

Thanks,
Job Cacka
