Re: System only boots to read-only

My computer is up and running again.

These instructions did the trick.

mount -n -o remount,rw /

This will remount root as read-write and you should be able to edit the
fstab. After you finish, do a control-d to reboot.

I then had a problem with the NVIDIA display.  I found that
/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/libwfb.so had become a link to
libnvidia-wfb.so.1.   Looking at my identical setup on another computer, I
copied the libwfb.so from the second computer to the one with the video
problem.   With a reboot, the display is working again.

Thanks for all the help including reviewing the commands for logical
volumes, UUIDs and the remount.
