On my VMs, the mount options for /boot is either "defaults" or "discard".

It's only OracleLinux/RHEL 8 behaving this way and I don't understand=20
the logic of automatically remounting a partition when changes have been=20
made to the disk.

And I has said: even with the /boot entry commented in the /fstab, the=20
system *still* tries to mount it after each use of "sfdisk" and "sgdisk".
