Greg Depending on the actual CPU involved (I dont know what a 7500 has) it may be a ciph problem. HP has replaced the Itanium CPUs in our older Itanium-1 based system because of floating point problems in the CPU. Im pretty sure all the Itanium-II CPUs are fine. stuart ----- Original Message ----- From: "Greg Hennessy" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, March 02, 2003 12:59 PM Subject: upgrade from 7.1 > I am running Redhat 7.1 on a dual cpu ia64 Dell 7500. > I'm running some scientific simulations, and finding > I'm getting different answers for identical reruns > of the same program, and it looks like I'm having memory > corruption problems.
