I'd guess that the machine is configured with 256G of RAM, but a portion of that is reserved for ccNUMA directories. We have numerous changes to the standard kernel. Most of them are to support our platform and improve performance. I don't think any changes were needed to reach 64p or 256G of RAM, but I'm not an authoritative source for that information.
